No Battery Is Detected Vista Hp G60
I cant operate my laptop unless it is plugged in to mains, when I checked the battery status it said 'no battery detected' but I know that there is a battery inside my laptop. Is there anything that I can do about this, my laptop is`nt very old.
Well, my problem. Sunday I noticed that my battery icon was saying 'plugged in, not charging'.
I checked my outlet, my ac adapter, the brick between the two and the port on the laptop. I have G60 235X.
I spoke to an HP tech person and they told me it's something in the computer that needs to be fixed, they said it's a 'needle' inside. I talked to a couple more people and some had me uninstall the battery in device manager and then search for hardware changes.
My battery is fine (I did a check). I am not sure what it is. They sent out a box for me to send it to them but it's the wrong kind of box. But I am not convinced it's something internal. I Googled the problem and it seems that many people have it. Any suggestions?
