I have HP X6400 with Windows 7 Ulitmate x64bit. Want to setup and configure RC6 IR Remote (RC1534022/00 Label on the battery cover of remote) with USB IR Reciever OVU4003/00 (3139 228 63491 Back of IR Receiver) with w7 ultimate x64bit. When I plugged in the usb IR Receiver to the PC W7 automatically Installed Drivers for Remote and USb IR Receiver. Under the Device Manager it says Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard, Microsoft eHome MCir Keyboard and Microsoft eHome Remote Control Keyboard Keys all have same driver Ver 6.1.7600.16385 (6/21/2006) Driver Providder: Microsoft and it is also Ditial siner: Microsoft Windows.
Now the Problem I am having is when i Press any buttons on the Remote, LED Light on Remote and IR Receiver lights up but there is no respnce form PC. Basically I Pressed Start button on remote but media center doesnot open. Any Body With Same Problem or Any Knoledge for This Perticular Issue is Appriciated.

From the description you have provided, I understand that you are facing issues with the remote control in Windows 7. I would suggest you to try the following steps 1. Click on Start; in the start search type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
Uninstall the device driver. Unplug the USB cord and reboot.
